Jiten brings a wealth of knowledge gained over many years in financial services and technology, including deep experience in the microfinance sector. Prior to MicroPlanet, he was Chief Information Officer of FINCA International, a global microfinance organization operating in 21 countries. At FINCA Jiten was successful in reorganizing the global IT infrastructure into multiple regional technology hubs, which allowed for sufficient local ownership of critical technology platform decisions while simultaneously ensuring increased global efficiencies. Before that he was CIO for a US-based consumer finance subsidiary of Banco Popular, where he and his technology team enabled the entity to grow its portfolio from $2 billion to $10 billion in four years. Jiten earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Liverpool, UK.
Jiten’s background has given him extensive exposure dealing with customer-facing mission-critical systems, business process optimization, full-lifecycle software development, software quality assurance methodologies, and high transaction volume database design. He brings process management discipline and best practices to growing organizations in order to improve efficiencies, strengthen execution, and drive strategic objectives. |

| Kris comes to MicroPlanet with a long background in technology and finance, first as a venture capital attorney, then as a business executive with various high-growth technology companies. Most recently he served as SVP Business Development & General Counsel at Paxfire, where he successfully developed strategic partnerships ranging from Internet advertising to DNS infrastructure, and before that was SVP Business Affairs & General Counsel at Hillcrest Laboratories. Prior to that, Kris was President of Gibson Audio, a division of Gibson Guitar that he launched to develop a line of digital music devices under the historic Wurlitzer Jukebox brand. Kris also has a broad background as a corporate lawyer, specializing in venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, and international joint ventures at DLA Piper and at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld LLP. Kris earned his law degree from Harvard Law School, cum laude, and his business finance degree from The University of Tulsa, magna cum laude. |
